Blog provides a venue where people of different backgrounds converge and discuss things, share experiences, and explore similarities and differences. All these, hence, allow people to see things from diferent perspectives and possibly, reach a common ground through back and forth discussion, comments and responses.

Assume I am another blogger now inputting my opinion folowing the orignial posting. And other bloggers may log in and do the same. This, as can be seen, allows people of different backgrounds share their thoughts, some of which may be very far apart in terms of view points. And our view points are broadened by the difference, I believe. Hence, participants all contribute to knowledge construction - social constructional of knowledge.
